FORGET SAVE THE DATE CARDS
Isn’t a wedding invitation enough? It’s absurd that guests need to receive a card in the mail that says, “Check your mailbox in 5 months – you’re getting a wedding invitation from us!” No one who receives a Save the Date Card should actually be saving the date – friends and family who are worthy of attending your wedding should already know the who, where and when of your big day. If the first time a guest hears of your engagement is when they receive a Save the Date Card, then perhaps you should seriously reconsider your guest list.
