I know it seems like a long way away, but believe me when I tell you…it is not. Once you hit that 6-month marker, it’s time to get serious about planning your “big” day.

And with my list of important to-do’s growing with each passing day (find an officiant, reserve hotel rooms for out of town guests, find a florist, solidify guest list, find a caterer…you get the picture), I do what all lousy brides do best: obsess over unimportant details.

I’m not into “cutesy” at all, but something about this cake topper makes me happy.
